Mission: To develop software and hardware architectures for lightweight machine learning (ML) systems across various applications. On the software side, the focus is on embedded devices for a wide range of uses, including wearable technology. On the hardware side, particularly for tiny ML architectures, the tML-EC lab specializes in emerging computing paradigms such as stochastic and hyperdimensional computing, aiming to create low-cost and low-power systems.
